"There is a natural flow of what wants to happen. Let it."
- Alan Cohen
Life is full of distractions, information overload, and overwhelm. It’s no surprise that anxiety is rampant, especially when navigating uncertainty.
During this time of change (change of seasons, change in weather, change of just being human), here’s an invitation for a moment to pause as you’re reading this email. Take a moment to look at the picture and notice how the light is flowing through the trees.
Pause, just for this moment, from the rush of the never-ending to-do-lists, illusions of perfect lives, the need to be “on.” And tune into the now instead. Feel your feet on the ground. Take a deep breath. Breathe in. Breathe out. Check in. With yourself. Notice how you are feeling. Is this how you would like to feel for the rest of today? If not, you can set an intention to change this. Right here, right now.
Change is tricky. It can be uncomfortable. It can feel threatening. Even when it is “just” to change a thought. Yet, the human body is constantly changing. According to Scientific American, our bodies replace billions of cells every day. It’s a powerful reminder of the flow of life… that life happens…that life does what life does… and that there are natural rhythms and changes that invite over(re)active minds to let go, even if it’s only for just one moment.
May you experience CALM, PEACE & FLOW – today and every day.
